FACILITATORS REQUEST PROCEEDINGS

Traveling Workshop Facilitator

Now is the time to be a Traveling Workshop Facilitator!

Summary

The TW director submits a Traveling Workshop request via the AMATYC website. The TW Director (requesting institution or affiliate conference) chooses the date, TW strand, and TW goals. The TWF submits a Traveling Workshop proposal based on the goals, and the TWD makes the decision - it could be YOU!

The key is that YOU decide! The TW Coordinator will email information related to the TW request and YOU decide if the date, time, and strand work with your schedule, as well as if you are comfortable with facilitating such a TW. You would then submit a proposal based on the goals (we do this via a Google Form).

The TWF (that is YOU!) receive an honorarium of $750, and the cost of all travel, meals, and incidentals as outlined in the AMATYC Reimbursement policy.

If you are interested in becoming an AMATYC Traveling Workshop Facilitator, an excellent first step is to submit a proposal to present at an AMATYC Conference. If you have already presented at an AMATYC Conference (or affiliate conferences), please complete the Traveling Workshop Facilitator Form by clicking here.
